She
started her studies on singing in 1988, performing
with pop-rock bands. She went on studying classical
singing with the mezzosoprano Patrizia Callegarini
(1994-1996) and jazz singing in Milan with the
famous italian jazz singer Tiziana Ghiglioni
(1993-1996) and later with Alan Farrington (1996-1998).
Daria attended stages and jazz singing workshops
(such as those with Mark Murphy and Rachel Gould)
and "voice expression and interpretation"
(with the american actor-singer Jonathan Hart).
She started her singing career with many North
Italian bands (Jazz Me Band, Mr Magoo, September
Groove, Asa Branca) playing different kinds
of music: jazz, funky and brazilian music.
Since 1994 she has been working as a teacher
of Singing, putting her personal technique and
modern singing into practice. She is currently
teaching at the "Centro Studi Musicali"
in Verona and for the BTEC National Diploma
in Popular Music (that depends on the Gateshead
Collage - England).
In 1999 she founded the brazilian music band
TEMPO REI.
LUCA
BOSCAGIN
guitarist
Luca
started playing guitar at the age of 7 as self-taught
and went on studying at music schools in his
town.
He attended stages with renownd guitarists like
TOLO MARTON and SANDRO GIBELLINI.
He attended also summer workshops with BARRY
HARRIS, JIM KELLY, MIKE WILLIAMS, ANDREA BRAIDO.
During his professional career he has been working
with many important artists such as: GIANNI
BASSO, GIANNI CAZZOLA, ROBERT BONISOLO, PAOLO
BIRRO, TOM KIRKPATRICK, STEVE ELLINGTON, JOHN
WETTON (bass-player and singer of KING CRIMSON
URIAH HEEP, UK), ELLADE BANDINI, ARES TAVOLAZZI,
MAURO NEGRI, FABRIZIO BOSSO, CHERYL PORTER,
FRANCESCO BEARZATTI, JAMES THOMPSON, HERBIE
GOINS, and many others.
Luca joined radio shows (on Radio RAI 3) and
live events such as: Festival di Luino, Sondrio,
Gubbio, Verona Jazz.
His project "Jazz Breakers" born from
an original idea to put classicals of rock in
a jazz key, with this project he has recorded
2 cd, the third is coming soon.
He
started to study classic guitar in 1984, then
passed to modern guitar in 1986 and finally
to bass guitar in 1988. In 1997 he was awarded
the BTEC National Diploma in Popular Music at
Gateshead College (England). In the last few
years he has also devoted himself to the study
of the doublebass, an instrument which now he
alternates to the electric bass.
Since the age of 15 he has played with various
bands, ranging in a wide series of music genres
(Brasilian, jazz, rock, pop, funky, modern lounge
etc.). A refined composer and creative arranger,
he has added to his musical knowledge a full
mastery of the latest music technologies. He
performs a regular live and studio activity.
Besides Tempo Rei, presently he plays with:
- Watershed - original music project in the
funk-fusion ambit with Andrea Sarasini (guitar),
Gianni Brunelli (drums), Gianni Sabbioni (bass)
- DùLounge - original lounge music project
created with the saxophonist Marco Pasetto
- Big Band RitmoSinfonica Città di Verona,
jazz orchestra directed by Marco Pasetto
- Open Trio - trio "open" to various
collaborations and led by the guitarist and
composer Enrico Breanza (with Paola Zannoni
on cello)
- La Scorta di Marco Ongaro, a well-known veronese
songwriter
- Joe Band - rock cover band with Matteo Mantovani
(guitar) and Joe Zampiceni (drums).
Since 2000 he manages the school CSM Centro
Studi Musicali in Verona, where he is also an
appreciated teacher. He is constantly engaged
in the organisation of events (SoundExpo, Festa
della Musica etc.), often on behalf of the cultural
association La Città della Musica, which
was co-founded by CSM. He outlines and coordinates
important music education projects in cooperation
with various Institutions.
Cesare
Valbusa started his professional career at the
age of 18 performing with a dance music band,
and played for about three years all over Europe.
He attended drumming stages with italian drummers
like: Valerio Abeni, Franco Rossi, Alfredo Golino.
For many years he used to play with "Rudy
Rotta Blues Band" and joined important
live events and festivals in Italy and Europe,
and worked with many important american artists
such as Valery Wellington, Karen Carroll, Larry
Johnson, Lovie Lee, Maisha Grant.
He later became the official drummer of the
band "CHARLIE & THE CATS", being
involved and working hard for performances and
discographical projects (5 cd recorded and 2
videos). They also attended many shows on local
and national television channels (VIDEOMUSIC
- RAI 3).
In 1994, with the band "DE IURE",
he wan the Italian selection of the competition
"MUSIC QUEST 1994" organized from
YAMAHA, the final selection took place in Tokyo,
and they arrived for second.
In the last years, thanks to the popularity
he's reached and to his eclecticity, Cesare
has been working a lot as shifter with many
important artists such as SANDRO GIBELLINI,
ALAN FARRINGTON, BERNARDO LANZETTI, BRUNO LAUZI,
LUCA OLIVIERI, JAMES BURTON, JERRY DONHAHUE,
TOMMY EMMANUEL, LARRY RAY, JOHN JORGENSON, JOHNNY
HILAND, STEVE LOGAN, ALAN THOMPSON, TM STEVENS.
